Why We Built This
It started with a simple moment at home.
One evening, my daughter asked:
"Can I experience different careers
before I choose my subjects?"
Not read about them.
Not just hear from teachers.
But actually understand what those careers feel like.
That question stayed with me.
Because the truth is, most students are asked to choose a path
before they've ever seen what that path looks like in real life.
They choose subjects based on marks, advice, or trends —
not because they truly understand the work.
And that's where the gap is.
We realized that the best career guidance doesn't come from textbooks. It comes from real people — the parent who is a doctor, the one who runs a business, the one who builds products or designs spaces.
These people already exist inside every school community.
They just aren't connected to students in a structured way.
So we built CareersPOV.
A platform where schools, parents, and students come together to make career decisions clearer — through real conversations, real exposure, and real experiences.
